Super Glue
Super Glue is a general purpose, medium viscosity, ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive.
The product perfectly bonds semi-absorbent and slightly rough surfaces.
Features and Applications
Application
- Application in manufacture of shoe, bag, leather, furniture, home appliance, automotive, electronics, molding, modelling, plastic goods, advertising, toys, stationery and textile.
- Substrates: EPDM , PVC, PMMA, ABS, Rubber, Vinyl, Metal, Ceramic, Glass, Wood, Cork, Paper, Mat etc. and their combinations.
Usage and Instructions
Surface preparation
1)Ensure parts are clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
Application of product
1)Remove cap and apply small amount of Super Glue adhesive to one surface It is recommended to apply only 1 dab per 3 cm2.
2)Set time can vary based on the amount of glue and type of surface glued. Excess glue can cause delayed or failed bond.
3)When using with Activator, apply activator to the other surface.
4)In case of wicking applications with Super Glue allow the adhesive to penetrate into gaps or cracks.
5)Press the two surfaces together for about 10–60 seconds.
6)Wait 24 hours for a full cure.
